Man Arrested in Person with a Gun Investigation, Warden Station

On Monday, April 13, 2026, at approximately 11:17 p.m., police responded to a call for a Person with a Gun at Warden Station in the Warden Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area.

It is alleged that:

the accused was on board a TTC subway car that was travelling westbound from Kennedy Station
the accused threatened several riders on the subway, stating that he was in possession of a firearm and he was going to shoot everyone on the train
several people reported this to the subway operator and police were called
officers met the subway at Warden Station and the accused was arrested, no firearm was located, no injuries were reported.
