Police seek suspect in armed robbery at Yonge St. and Front St. W.

Toronto police are searching for a suspect in connection to an armed robbery in the Yonge Street and Front Street West area this week.

The suspect, who police identified as Jamal Dabreo, 33, of Toronto, has been accused of robbing a retail store on Monday shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Toronto Police Service (TPS) said the suspect entered an unnamed store and attempted to steal items.

After being unsuccessful in the theft, the suspect allegedly brandished a weapon.
Employees at the store were able to disarm the suspect, TPS reported.

The suspect then fled the area.
